Verona High School Senior Portrait Session

These portraits were taken mid-morning on the Verona High School campus. The timeframe was ideal because the light is still soft and low enough to avoid the harsh overhead shadows you get at noon. Shooting at the school itself allowed the opportunity to showcase the building's brick walls and pathways for a clean, familiar background.

Next, we headed down to the baseball field to switch things up. The goal was to bring his sport into the session without making it feel overly staged. He stayed in the suit but grabbed his bat and glove, which created a cool contrast against the dirt and blue sky.

This senior session paired traditional portraits with student interests, all photographed in one location. Utilizing different spots around the school kept the gallery varied but cohesive.
